Heidi S. Tuffias graduated in 1987 with her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California, Davis, in 1990 she obtained her Juris Doctorate from the University of Southern California and in 2018 she graduated with her Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Los Angeles. She is a Certified Family Law Specialist and a Licensed Associate Marriage Family Therapist, pursuing her MFT license.

Ms. Tuffias had a full family law practice for the first twenty five years of her career including consensual dispute resolution, litigation and minor’s counsel. Currently, she operates the Law and Mediation Offices of Heidi S. Tuffias, Inc., APC, and focuses on mediation, consulting to mediations, collaborative matters and pre and post-nuptial agreements in West Los Angeles. Ms. Tuffias is the former President of the Board of Directors for the Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law and has also been a member of the Boards of the Los Angeles County Bar, Family Law Section; Association of Certified Family Law Specialists; California Dispute Resolution Council and Women’s Lawyers Association, among others. Ms. Tuffias speaks, teaches and writes frequently about family law, mediation and using psychological theory and practice to contribute to dispute resolution.
